As our first year on campus draws to a close SIERA would like to invite all it's members to join us and have a say in our first ever AGM (Annual General Meeting). Members of SIERA as well as any Social Science Students (in accordance to 2.2), researchers or active members will have the opportunity to voice their opinion on subjects discussed in the AGM, ask questions to the current executive board, as well as partake in the election of the executive board for the 16/17 term. Our AGM is also open to any students interested in getting to know more about the Organization as well as familiarize themselves with the new executives elected on the day.
In accordance to article 11.6.5.1 of SIERA’s Statue, the agenda for the AGM is as follows: - All relevant reports in accordance to article 7. - Amendments to the Statute. - General motions and other matters arising. - An option to discuss a topic chosen for the AGM. - Presentation of the new Executive Board.
Joining SIERA's executive is a wonderful opportunity for all those interested, and will present them with the opportunity to run their own department and contribute to the running of SIERA. The current available positions in SIERA’s executive team are as follows: Technical Officer, Marketing Officer, Finance Officer, Events Coordinator, External Relations Officer, Research Officer, International Relations Officer.
